ARTISTS ABROAD is nonprofit organization using the arts as a catalyst for change around the world. We provide visual artists opportunities to immerse themselves in communities abroad and to work side by side with local artists and students. We empower artists to leverage creative projects as a means of cross cultural collaboration and exchange.

Our team of artists and art educators believes that multicultural awareness is integral to 21st century artistic practice and are committed to equipping the next generation of creatives to be global citizens.

Global Awareness:  We value understanding and appreciation of the world based upon applicable knowledge and direct experience of global and cultural perspectives.
Cultural Exchange: We actively promote the exchange of ideas, skills, and approaches to art making. We discuss and explore all common and diverse experiences each mind and each culture brings to the conversation.
Community Involvement: We believe engaging in dialogue and collaboration with our community members through the arts, establishes rewarding relationships and directly impacts the people involved.
Cultural Sustainability: We want to encourage and expect an understanding of responsibility toward our immediate and global communities.
